The recently acquired Temple in St. Louis, and a rendition of what is envisaged for the future temple.
Recently, ISKCON hosted a high-profile gala on November 16th, drawing over 350 attendees. It is with immense gratitude and heartfelt joy that we announce the successful completion of the fundraising event. By the divine mercy of Sri Krsna Balarama, the blessings of Srila Prabhupada, and the loving support of our dedicated devotees, donors, and well-wishers, we achieved the goal of the 1st phase. This success is not merely a financial accomplishment; rather, it is a testament to the unity, sincerity, and spiritual strength of our community.
After acquiring a 4.13-acre property in Overland, Missouri, a fundraising event was organized, culminating a month of community-driven endeavors. The funds raised will be directed toward temple construction, renovation, and to facilitate deity services, prasadam distribution, outreach programs, youth preaching, festivals, kirtans, retreats, the Sunday feast, and educational initiatives. These efforts will enable us to expand our services to the community, reaching more hearts with the message of Krishna consciousness, and fostering a spiritually uplifting environment where people can cultivate devotion, peace, and joy.Local devotees, well-wishers, donors, and temple leaders attending the fundraising event.A visionary masterplan includes a temple main hall as well as educational and residential wings.
This is a transformational moment for our community, as we have been praying, working, and giving selflessly for this vision. Temple leadership expressed “deep gratitude” to everyone who participated. These expansions reflect the growing needs of the St. Louis congregation and represent the most significant milestone.
