ISKCON Patna celebrated the historic Jagannath Rath Yatra 2026 with immense spiritual enthusiasm and grandeur, attracting more than 200,000 devotees from across Bihar. Hon’ble Chief Minister Inaugurates the Festival
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Samrat Chaudhary Ji, graced the Jagannath Rath Yatra 2026 as the Chief Guest.
He inaugurated the festival by lighting the ceremonial lamp and then performed the sacred Chhera Pahara, the traditional act of sweeping the path before Lord Jagannath’s chariot, symbolizing humble service before the Supreme Lord. Following this, he had the opportunity to pull the rope of Lord Jagannath’s Rath before the procession commenced and offered heartfelt prayers to Lord Jagannath, Lord Baladeva, and Srimati Subhadra Devi.

Special Attraction: 108 Bhoga Offering by Crane
One of the most remarkable highlights of Jagannath Rath Yatra 2026 was the grand offering of 108 varieties of bhoga to Lord Jagannath at multiple locations along the procession route using a crane.
This devotional offering was organized for the first time by ISKCON Patna, allowing devotees gathered throughout the city to witness this unique and magnificent service to the Lord. The special offering became one of the most memorable attractions of the festival.
